What could affect the results of my tattoo?
Oily skin can create a more blurred affect to hairstrokes, and a softer outcome of powder brows
Sun exposure will cause faster fading on permanent cosmetics, use sunscreen
Iron deficiency may cause the pigments to absorb faster
Smoking may cause the pigments to fade faster
What to avoid before your appointment
Avoid taking blood thinners 48-72 hours before your appointment, excessive bleeding can cause less retention of the color
Avoid alcohol or caffeine the night before and morning of our appointment
Do not work out after your appointment
Do not use retin-a products two weeks before or after your appointment
If you are prone to cold sores, you will need to get medication two weeks before your appointment. Lip tattoo can trigger cold sore outbreak.

Currently undergoing cancer treatment
Have psoriasis or rosacea on the area of treatment
What to expect after your appointment
All tattoos will appear multiple shades darker prior to healing, for several days after your appointment. This is due to oxidation of color and healing. You may experience some redness around the brows, but that will usually disappear within several hours after your appointment.
Some people may have slight swelling, usually eyeliner and lips, typically this will go away within 24-48 hours
Your tattoos will begin to flake around day 3 after your appointment. DO NOT PICK THESE FLAKES. Doing so may pull the color out of your tattoo. The tattoo may appear spotty until all of the flakes have fallen off. When the flakes fall off, the tattoo will appear lighter than desired, but the color will continue to “bloom” to the top of the skin over the next few weeks. At week 4, you should be able to see the final result and be able to address what to touch up at your follow up appointment.
